Troubleshooting

At some point, whether because of worn parts, long service hours or environmental conditions, you may experience some problems with the performance of your equipment. Before making a service call, here are a few simple things you can do to either fix the problem or help gather information for the service representative you will talk to.

 
     
Treadmills  
Problem
No Power

 

 

Check
Check to make sure power cord is securely fastened to the machine and to the outlet, that the power switch is in the on positoin and that the circuit breaker in your electrical panel hasn't been tripped.
Problem
Incline Not Working

 

 

Check
Look under the machine's hood to determine if any electrical connections are loose. Look for plastic connectors that may have come loose.

HR Not Registering/
Registering Incorrectly
  Check
Wipe the hand sensors which can be contaminated with sweat, hand lotion and other light soil. You can also place a rubber mat under the unit to help dissipate built up static electricity.
Problem
Belt has wandered
off to one side
  Check
Consult your owner's manual for instructions on how to adjust the belt to get back to original position.

Seat wobbles

 

Check
Check to make sure bike is on level surface and that all bolts are tightened securely.

  Check

Cable tension may also be adjusted using the threaded cable end on single pulley bracket and weight stack.

Inspect the weight stack and use a teflon-based spray to remove any debris from the rod(s).
